Klamath CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION (CAP) is a volunteer organization made up of child and family advocates dedicated to ending child abuse and family violence through education and awareness campaigns.
Our vision is a Violence-Free Klamath County.
Our philosophy is a holistic approach to address the "family violence system" (child abuse, domestic and sexual violence, elder abuse, and animal abuse) by forming alliances with key agencies and organizations to provide a coordinated effort in ending all forms of violence that harm children and their families.
Volunteers, both agency and private, are welcome at our meetings and events. CAP meets the third Thursday of each month, 11 AM to Noon, in the CARES (Child Abuse Response & Evaluation Services) conference room, 2220 Eldorado Blvd, Klamath Falls, Oregon 97601.
